@Frank Apisa,
Adobe has always been unreliable in Google Chrome. It must have broken something in a recent update (Chrome or Adobe). I can't give any advice ... just hoping the problem doesn't hit my computer at home.

@Frank Apisa,
I think it was you who posted on something like this a few months ago. At the time I gave you steps to disable Chrome's version of flash called pepper flash.

You might want to check on that again because it sometimes gets refreshed when Google does a chrome update.

Actually, I did do an update a week back...so the problem may date back to then. Goddam thing really bothers me, since there are so many videos posted here. I don't actually watch any of 'em...but I at least want to see what they are. With this problem Ii don't even see the titles.

And my porns sites...awww...my porn sights are just mush.

Yeah...that was a while back. But everything in my ad on section is now enabled...and still it doesn't work. Everything!

@Frank Apisa,
Chrome doesn't really have an add on section, are you sure it isn't Firefox you're using?

@Butrflynet,
Chrome plug ins. My mistake. Should I be looking elsewhere, because I see no pepper whatever there?

@Frank Apisa,
Frank why do you not just go back to a restore point before the problem had shown up?

I guess I will have to at some point, Bill, if I cannot get someone to help me figure out how to do it without that process. I've never done the restore point myself (someone did it for me before), but I guess two weeks ago would be perfect.

We'll see if any other suggestions come up first.

Thank you everyone.

Much as I hate to admit that I am an asshole...I am.

I thought I was "enabling" the various items when the word "enable" appeared in blue. Actually...that was disabling them.

Like I said...I am not especially tech savey...or something like that.

After all these years being a PC user I finally bought us new Mac’s. I can’t believe the difference. Once you go Mac you never go back.

@jcboy,
Thinking of buying something new. I may consider the Mac. Thanks for the heads up.

@Frank Apisa,
Don't bother looking at Mac laptops, the largest screen they now make is only 15 inch and their about 3400.00 bucks, I got two desktops for the same price, no towers either, everything is build into the 21 inch monitors.
