Advanced Search in Google Directory

I have read Directory Help at Directory.Google.com and Google
Directory section in Edit (Moderator): Link removed but they seem to be so basic and I would like to know more about Advanced Search with Google Directory.

Please help tell me more resources on the Internet (guide, tutorial or
message board) in which I can have more information about how to
search with Google Directory. For example, I would like to know:

1. Does Google search website's description or content

2. Which search operators work with Google Search Web but not work
with Google Directory.

Thanks.

Remember that it's not Google's directory. It's a copy of www.dmoz.org

When searching through Google thinks like link: are not available, things like allinurl: or inurl: are. site: is also available.
