Sorry I'm a little late to your party, Ragman. I've been held hostage by a pack of wild dogs. Let me explain...

For your birthday, I wanted to get you something that would make you feel ecstatic...I wanted to get you what Meg Ryan had...remember that scene in When Harry Met Sally?


So, at great personal expense, and with a great deal of fanfare, I schlepped into NYC, and headed for Katz's deli, where that scene took place, and bought this for you.


As I headed for the airport, to put it on a plane to Florida, the aroma of this pastrami made me so weak in the knees I had to take a little bite--it was such a big sandwich, I didn't think you'd notice. So, I pulled my car over, found a spot to sit, and chomped down...


Well, that's when the pack of wild dogs showed up...


What followed wasn't a pretty picture. Suffice to say it involved my being led by the ankles back to Katz's where I was forced to buy 5 more pastrami sandwiches as a condition of geting my ankles released by those mongrels.

Unfortunately, that maxed out my credit card, leaving me no way of buying you another gift.

So, this is a really important time for you to remember that it's the thought that counts.
