Well, I look a little frazzled in my pic, but the truth is that Mrs. cav was saying "go for aloof! Don't look too happy!" and I was having a hard time suppresing a laugh.

The food looks okay though.
Please comment, I may want to use a couple for my new website.
Cav, there is just one of them - am I looking at the right place or .. ?
Gautam, there is only one of me, and two of my food.
Not this one for yr website...
Sorry - but I am being honest here
Yeah, I look too tired and washed out....I will get another done, with a smile perhaps.
The food looks great, P.
You should have disregarded your wife's advice however...
Well, with access to a digital camera, it won't be hard to take some more pics. It looked better in that tiny viewing screen, but when it was enlarged I thought "whoa, think a smile would have been better!"
Just as an aside, I can't do "brooding" well at all...I'm just not that good an actor.
And I might be old fashioned, but as a chef, on yr profession site, you should look like a chef (in full gear)
This picture was taken some time ago, but I am about the same weight now that I was then, except the hair was longer, and tied back. The photo is too large to upload, so here's a link:
Edit (Moderator): Link removed
That is a proper chef outfit in the pic, G

. I don't go in for the big hats and neckerchiefs. Even among the elite chefs here, some of those conventions are not really observed outside the hotel circuit.
Standing, smiling, toque and apron, holding dish...
Nicole Miller jacket and all even...
Cav, your link will probly be removed by the moderating team, since links to member's sites are not allowed, but if you want I can resize it & upload it to the a2k gallery for ya. Lemme know. It's a great pic, by the way.
I'll go for standing, smiling, and holding dish, but no toque and apron. They look silly, and it wouldn't be right for the market I am trying to sell to, which is predominantly private customers with good taste, but no pretense of stuffiness.
Sure Monger, if you could do that, it would be great. I would have preferred that anyway, but I don't have a clue how to do it. Thanks.
OK, OK, no toque. <pouts>
How about if you wave a spatula, or better yet, a carving knife menacingly? <hopeful>
like your picture better with hair pulled back and with a smile :-) still think there is too much mint on your strawberry sorbet...:-)
I agree with willow_tl (abt the picture)
