Okay I tired look this up but I can't find it, but i found it only on this one site and it sounds like what I got, but I am not sure now.. Plus I just found something out that makes me
question if I got it right. I got a green
colt covered Cat in the hat book copyright 1957. It has a library stamp on it. So I thought that one site I found was right, yet I tought an educational edition, was printed by Houghton Mifflin made those editions. And on mine It says on the title page Random House(at the bottom in mid sized letters). Now on the back of the title page in small letters at the bottom it say copyright 1957, where and who the educational edition was printed , and trade edition and where who printed it. I can send pictures if needed, but I really need help on knowing what I got, and what the value of it is?

@None123,
I found a discussion here: http://www.justanswer.com/antiques/730ta-dr-seuss-cat-hat-first-edition-green-cloth.html

It sounds like the same book you're asking about and give a value of $20-$30.
