Hey all you lurkers...

A good number of those 80 may very well be Google's search bots collecting data. They appear as "unregistered users" while they do their work.

80 does seem awfully high for bots though. I don't usually pay attention but when I've noticed I can't remember ever seeing more than 25 or so before.

The big kahuna can address the specifics better than I though.

The traffic has exploded since the static urls took effect. Every day has been a record for that day of the ween for the last 4 days.

Google just calculated Page Rank for the static URLs and the serarch engine traffic has gone through the roof.

Traffic will be about 40% higher from now on.

Craven is glossing over reality just a tad. The majority of the lurkers are demented hampsters.
