I'll second the beer or DE for the snails, but you might also try getting hair from your hairdresser to spread or putting out bits of Irish Spring soap for the deer and bunnies. It's probably cheaper than the urine on a small scale. I've some luck with it and I know that unfortunately it won't scare your dog.
