Who started this **** about "moral standards"? There may, indeed, be ethnic differences in one's perception of a group's so-called moral standards because all such standards are culture-based, not universally accepted.
True, and even within the ethnic group, morals can change (even 180 degrees) in less than one generation! It has happened in America. If one chooses not to climb abroad, they are left behind.
