Need help with a marching band tune

I have no clue what the name of the song is, marching bands have taken part of the tune off a rock song. I hear this tune played often during telecasts of football games, especially by bands in the SEC and ACC. The tune is played often after the defense makes a big play or stop. Some bands end the tune with the short ESPN jingle (dah dah dah.....dah dah dah).

Anyway here is my best stab at the tune:

dun dun dundundun dadada lada dundundun Then it repeats
and as I said some bands finish the tune with the ESPN jingle. Thanks for your help.
