Are hipsters civilization's ironic saviors or the main reason for its inevitable collapse?

I like to force them to almost smile. Invariably makes them grimace when they realize they nearly smiled.

They're entertaining when they're not annoying.

In Portland I'm not sure if everyone is a hipster or nobody is a hipster.

Surely hipsters are no longer called hipsters. There must be a much more hip way to discuss them.

They actually go back to the 1940's when Harry Gibson invented Rock and Roll .
Buncha self absorbed clueless douche bags. Ive had em in my classes and It was fun watching some of these retro clad cone-head idiots try to keep up in the field. Their "comfortable used shoes and skinny jeans " didn't make it on a cobble and grit esker field.

I was amazed at how much time these kids spent preening.
