if coordinates of a triangle are (X1,Y1) , (X2,Y2) and (X3,Y3),
find (X3,Y3) in terms of (X1,Y1) and (X2,Y2)..

@parnimhb,
Take out a piece of coordinate paper.

Plot the three points. (Lable them A, B and C)

With a straightedge connect the three points.

Carefully cut out the triangle.

Take a piece if coordinate paper identical to the paper you cut out the triangle.

Pick a point at random. Call this point A.

Draw a line through this point (A) in any direction.

Measure along this line a distance equal to the distance on side AB of your triangle.

Mark this point--Call this point B.

Now lay your triangle along these two points on the paper and the cut out triangle.

This will give you point C

If you've kept track of the points A,B & C by cross referencing the cartesian coordinates you've expressed the three points.

Caution --there are two correct answers.
