Hello Friends,
Can you turn a wind up watch into a battery powered one? I have this old watch which I really like. However, I always forget to wind it and slowly it goes out of sync. So I was just wandering whether a watchmaker can turn a wind up watch into a battery powered or self winding one? Thanks

It would be a matter of keeping the case and replacing the entire works with a new unit. I'm going to guess that if there were something that would fit, the cost would make it impractical.
