Patrick Acton used 298,000 matchsticks, and 2000 toothpicks and a whopping 14 gallons (55 litres) of wood glue to assemble this replica of the Notre Dame Cathedral
As far as Iread it is so popular that tooo many are visiting.
I would have liked to see it myself if I went to London, but my GB visit will not take me to London this time.
Images of falling poppies were projected onto the Big Ben clocktower at the Houses of Parliament in London to mark Remembrance Sunday on November 9th 2014. The cascading poppies drew crowds of spectators onto Westminster Bridge, at the end of a day of events around the UK remembering the fallen of both world wars and conflicts since 1945. This was the UK's first Remembrance Sunday to be held during the Centenary of the First World War.

@vonny,
I think it is wonderful how the Remembrance day is celebrated in GB. It is with a dignity which in many countries would be unthinkable. I also think it is good we do not forget the older generations and what wars cost - in the hope it will teach new generations something.
It is right that we remember those who died whatever their race, religion or politics - and good that so many young people are taking an interest in the centenary of the First World War.

The Kallur lighthouse on the Faroe island of Kalsoy
Faroe Islands needed a soccer trainer and got one from Brazil. The real details I do not know as I am not one bit interested in soccer - more interested in Faroe Islands.
Anyway the guy like the Faroe Islands so he stayed and married a distatant relative of mine.
