I would suggest poker; the ability to sit down with 7 or 8 rough looking strangers and outsmart them out of their money. Poker comes with a set of sub-skills that are useful through life.
At the core of it you will get experience making high stakes decisions quickly with limited information. You will also improve your abilities to lie with a straight face, to stand up to someone you suspect is lying to you, and to make decisions in the face of loss.
