Hello Everyone,
Even the most dedicated breastfeeding mom may need to take a feeding off once in a while, but may not want to use formula in the bottle. If you want your baby to have breast milk even when you're not there, a breast pump can make it easier to fill up those little bottles. While you can express milk by hand, a breast pump is generally faster and more efficient, especially if you pump frequently.
One advantage of a good breast pump is increased efficiency over manual expression. However, even though pumping may work better than manual expression, it doesn't equal the sucking action a baby produces. You won't get as much milk when pumping, in most cases, as the baby gets by nursing.
Thanks a lot!
