What is the professional way to shade dentures?

Hello Community,

I know how to make them, but my next step is to shade them. I'm in school for dental lab tech and want to get ahead. If anyone having any idea relating this topic please suggest me.

Real professionals either use oil paint or pencil. Amateurs use water based paints or sharpies.
