What kind of flower arrangement should we do for a competition?

Flower arranging for competition can cover many natural items we might not ususally think of as floral such as seaweed and coral. My automatic reaction to this theme was to use one of the large shells I have and/or some coral as this is considered a “natural” material in competition judging. I suppose I should have learnt by now to have a look at what props I have before I decide on my arrangement.
