What is a Septic Grease Trap?

Hello Friends,

A septic grease trap filters grease and oils that otherwise would drain into the sewage system. Primarily used in hospitals, restaurants and schools where a large quantity of food is prepared, a grease trap keeps grease and oil from building up in sewage treatment facilities and clogging pipes. I know that much only if anybody know more about this please tell me.

Thank You
