i start with the number double it divide the result by 3 subtract 3.1 from the quiont and divide that diffrence by 5.my answer is 3.7 wats my number?

I'm assuming that you mean quotient by "quiont."

[((x*2)/3)-3.1]/5=3.7

x={[(3.7*5)+3.1]*3}/2

x = 32.4
