Japanese Martial Art Weapons

Hello friends,

Japan is home to dozens of martial arts styles that have been refined and mastered over the course of centuries. Whether the martial art is soft, such as aikido, or hard, such as karate, each involves practice with some type of weapon. Though hundreds of weapons have traditionally been used in the practice of Japanese martial arts, only a few remain common today.
