By the way, Walter, i'm not denying that the casus belli was religious. However, money and politics trumped religion--Catholic France supported Protestant Sweden to oppose Catholic Austria, and Protestant Denmark attempted to negotiate on behalf of the Catholic Empire because Christian wanted to limit the influence of Protestant Sweden in the Baltic.
