I can't believe nobody said being a passenger in a car driven by a female, while RuPaul's cd plays over and over and over and over yet. I mean, that would have been my first vote. That or fire.

According to rotten.com, "[This is] the work of an anonymous German artist's woodcut entitled The Fate of Three Homosexuals. It documents a method of torture favored by Spanish Inquisitors of the 16th century for killing these undesirable individuals. During the bisection, oxygen and blood continued to reach the brain in order that the victim not lose consciousness. Nasty."

The water drip takes a few months to permeate the skin and then the skull of the dripped-on person. In the final phase it drips on the bare brain, if the person is still alive. I had the pleasure to visit Spilberg -castle in the Czech Republic with vast torture chambers, still intact. Czech Robin Hoods ended up there having their share of fun.
Another doomed place was Auschwitz of course, the prison cells there were torture devices in themselves. One cell was a stand-up cell, in total darkness. Another was only so tall you could only lie down, in water. Brrrr. Off to some sunny warm thread I am!

Infrablue, I think that is one of the worst torture tactics thus far.

Oh yeah, the Inquisitors had some of the cruelest torture methods ever devised.

I'm trying to imagine the conversation going on between those two guys tied up on the ground....
"Hey, Bob, you wanna go next?"
"Nah, go ahead."
"No, really.... you go first"

No matter the method of torture, the worst is waiting in anticipation.

I think being forced to watch a 'Friends' or 'Will and Grace' marathon is worse torture than InfraBlue's post. There goes the doorbell...oh my, it's the Spanish Inquisition! I wasn't expecting them, but then again, nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.
