I like baseball so I read Joe Calico - actually I am down to the few pages. But found out that they are going to make this into a movie (ok what Grisham book hasn't been) - but this is slightly different as no lawyers are involved.
For those that have read this who do you think should star or have a part as one of the characters in the book? (for fun you can slate both famous actors or our own celebrity A2kers).
I was going to cast Joe from Chicago as the "old" Joe - simply for the name (and location)

Isn't he dead? Don't think he could play him then. Besides Calico Joe is supposed to be hot - not like Babe Ruth.
I think the Calico Joe should be played by (actor) Alexander Ludwig, with Mike Teout doing the action parts. Also i think the part of Warren Tracy should be played by Christopher Meloni (He just looks the part)
