Between the two hemispheres of the brain sits this tiny 5 – 8mm gland. This is the Pineal Gland, The PG’s main function is to produce melatonin from serotonin. Melatonin is the chemical compound that is produced by the PG during the darker hours peaking around the middle of the night. Hence why people who suffer from depression also suffer from insomnia. The production of melatonin is directly related to the amount of light our eyes take in, so not turning the light on when you go to the toilet may assist in sleep quality. Melatonin receptors are in the hypothalamus.
According some articles on the internet the Egyptians had knowledge of the pineal gland. The Egyptians thought that it took 49 days for the soul to imbed into the human body. The interestingly part is that 49 days is about how long for an embryo to be mature enough to have formed a pineal gland, 49 days is also about the time when doctors can tell the sex of the baby.
Does this prove anything?
@Avendarito,
Yes! It proves you can string a series of non-sequiturs and unscientific nonsense together and distribute them online.
@Ragman,

Rag don’t be too sure about that. An occasional melatonin is just a whole lot cheaper than psychoanalysis and might even prove safer, depending on your choice of analysts
@dalehileman,
In a more abstract sense someone defines soul as everything you are besides your body
@OmSigDAVID,
Melatonin is the chemical compound that regulates the biological clock, in other words te more melatonin the sleepy we feel.
@Avendarito,

At the same time it relieves anxiety—but don’t use it in the daytime
Thank u very much
for the information.

Sounds like 100 Proof proof.
