I need ideas. What would be a good investment for $25,000 or so?

Greetings, Kickycan and others:

Feel free to ask me about System P500, is my suggestion.

My ADVICE is: Whatever you do, take your time (weeks or even months before committing that amount), don't leap! "Act in haste, repent in leisure" - you know?

The Caprice Travel Fund
Caprice,

Outstanding idea, I could contribute to that! My favorite train is"The Canadian" (VIA RAIL train nos. 1 and 2, Toronto-Winnipeg-Jasper-Vancouver).

Caprice, what kind of return on my investment to I get with that? It doesn't necessarily have to be monetary . . .

Long term, short term? You could put it in relatively conservative stocks or mutual funds..or mix it up with some risky ones. You could use it towards buying a house/condo.

Or you can buy my "Slappy Doo Hoo Guide to Making Money Package." It retails for $30,000, but because I like you, you can acquire all this knowledge to getting rich for ONLY $24,995!!!

Go to college, if you haven't already. A good education is by far the best investment there is.

Unfortunately, I don't swing that way. On the other hand, a deal like that doesn't come around every day . . . hmmm . . . naaaah, I still can't do it!

I would suggest contacting BiPolarBear. He still has that Pizza-in-a-Balloon thing going. I think $25,000 is about what he's asking for a franchise.

Good luck.

kick:

As you can see this is a loaded question, leaving you open not only to sarcasm but also the idle con.

The short answer to your question is: it depends.

Another short answer is: ask someone whom you really trust, and ask them face to face.

Good luck.

Hmm, I thought it was more Zoolander than I-95...

kickycan, I can hook you up with this Nigerian executive who needs to temporarily move a ton of money into your bank account. You would get a handsome cut for your trouble. It's foolproof!
