Gorgeous, I happen to love them, they dance in the sky, and king palms, and many others, but they are not shade trees - they get taller.

(Meanwhile I'll admit that if one insists on adding arches, those are well done.)

I'm waiting for the large spanish fountain in the tiled courtyard to be. Of course then the brick walk would have to go. Plus the englishy trellis.

Yes they do dance in the sky, I like that!

The queen palms were there when I bought the house. I had the King palms planted in the front and the guy who planted them is the one who told me you have to feed them, but you’re right they will not promote much shade.

But they are beautiful.

My neighbor Gilbert told me he had two queen palms at the back of his house about ten years ago and they got some kind of fungus and just fell over one day.
