Nursing in the UAE

Hi, im a Registered Nurse in New Zealand, i have two years post grad experience in emergency and did my new grad year in orthopedics and cardiology.

My partner and i are looking to move to the UAE and im desperate for some up to date info, alot of whit im finding on the internet is old and maybe out of date.

My partner works in engineering, hes a fitter turner, so there seems to be a fair bit of work he can do, and i would really like to be working to.

im wondering how simple it is to start work? are there exams to sit? do you have to take a fixed contract? do they often hire for less than a year?
which country within the UAE would you most recommend? im thinking Dubai seems to be the easiest?

Thanks for any help you can give, Chantelle
