Damn. In that case I had better tell my travel agent. I still want to live there. I'm thinking on how much it would save me on ice cubes and my a/c bill.

You'd spend more than that on having everything you need (that's everything) flown in, and on the medical training you'd need to operate on yourself if you get appendicitis.

I have no appendix so I'm ahead of the game. I just have to pick up a team of huskies for some sort of local transportation and some warmth.

Penguins will probably be more available; you'd have to go around 10,000 miles to find any husky teams to rent or buy. (Huskies live near the top of the globe)

Your question is a tad to vague. I'm assuming you're asking what other country other then where you are currently residing as that would just be a lazy answer.

England would top my list.

I guess some very cosmopolitan city in Canada might suit the bill as well. I would need a country which gets a sizable amount of theatrically releases, movie wise and a large art culture as well (museums and music concerts).

If speaking another language wasn't a problem for me, France would be high on my list as well.

I really wanted to go to the North Pole instead. It's closer so the flight would be shorter and I wouldn't be able to see the Northern Lights from South Pole (Polish joke).

Hey, no worries. I see the N. lights a lot, but up until a few years ago, I didn't know that there was even such a thing as the southern lights.
