ooops, sorry! Should have known from "glitterbag." Me not always aware of these simple hints.

I did work for Florsheim Shoe Company, and we had a women's division called Thayer McNeil. They sold great women's shoes and boots.

mr. glitterbag's aunt sold shoes and was absolutely wizard, that woman knew everything there was to know about fitting shoes. She worked for Roscoe Griffen in Raleigh, North Carolina. Sadly, it no longer exists.
