This is a funny thread if one reads it backwards. Which I did. Last post first.

@ossobuco,
Did you intend that for the Longevity thread?

Just kidding.

@Irishk,
Happy St. Pat's..

Well, that's tomorrow. I gather this is something about Santorum, whom I avoid reading about.

@roger,
No, not at first but I thought that was serendipitous.

Plus true, those have, similar but not equal to vw's, been kept going and going and going.

@roger,
Sorry Roger, no offense intended, but it’s the only way I can flag a thread to identify it in my “subscribed threads” listing as one not requiring a response

@dalehileman,
oic. You're using that the way some people insert the word Bookmark? I get it, but there is no need to bookmark your own threads. They will always be available to you under the button called "My Topics" at the top of the screen.

@roger,
Thanks Rog, yes, I do realize that and in fact I use it in lieu of a “subscribed threads.” But flagging a thread as I do eliminates the necessity of laboriously accessing each one to determine whether I should pursue it further

Other forums of this sort have a handy facility for instance called, “Stop following this thread,” which removes it from one’s “subscribed threads"
