sumac, The WTO must balance "fair trade policies" with all trading partners, but that is a difficult task, considering each country has different strengths and weaknesses. For example, Japan protects its agriculture, while they sell freely to the US. At some point, there needs to be more teeth in the WTO to minimize barriers to trade. c.i.
