Spade's original rule doesn't mean you can use the same letter twice. It means you can import the same letter as one you have already chosen to retain from the original 6. Imagine you have some little coloured building blocks with all the letters on them. Right? And the teacher arranges 6 of them to read NAILED. To get IDIOTS you have only used 2 of the original 6. (I and D). And you're supposed to use 3. The rule means you can import another I but not that you can use the original I twice.
You have a floating I. Your building blocks read ID OTS or *DIOTS with * an empty space.
The only "devine" I can find is a house-building firm in England.
