Christmas Vacation, what is present Clark gives his boss?

I meant to ask this right after seeing this movie again. I noticed in the scene when Clark goes to see his boss about the great fake coating he invented to keep cereal from getting soggy, he brings a Christmas present.

He is shaped like a rectangle with a small square box on one end. Almost L like shaped. The boss says to put it with the others. There is a huge table with a bunch of presents - all exactly the same odd shape. What is so special about this gift that everyone is giving the same thing?
