I purchased a copy of The Story of The other Wise Man, by Henry Van Dyke, and published by A Peter Pauper Press Book. There are no dates but the ISBN number is 0-88-88088-560-2. When I took the jacket off of the book, I realized the book is in the cover upside down. This book, other than the bottom corners showing wear, is in excellent condition. Is this book of any value?
@inreader,
No. Publishing errors like this do not make a book (especially a contemporary one) valuable. Value is more likely to come from a book being a 1st edition preferably with a signature from an author who is famous and/or historic. There are exceptions, but things like upside down covers, missing chapters, reversed chapters etc. tend not to add any value to a book.
