@ovetta merritt,
there's a synopsis and some customer reviews at amazon, probably a better place to look

What's wrong with reading the book yourself?

@contrex,
I was especially gratified how the books title embodied all of which it contained and some of that also.
Ms WEEMS hit one right out of the park with this magna opa . She made me laugh, she made me cry. I will never look at the phrase "Listening for God" the same ever again thanks to her magnificent capture of this theme and by her amazingly concise and precise writing style.
This reader was truly amazed .

@farmerman,
I assume, then, that you would recommend this as required reading for all adolescents, right, farmer?

The hard hitting sex scenes, the heartbreaking romance between the heroine and the coal merchant, the daring way she mixes quantum theory and rap lyrics, together with the many June Beet recipes make this book un-put-downable.

Contrex, my screen name, is actually a brand of bottled water which was on my desk at the moment I had to think of a screen name for this forum.
