God says the prophet peace be upon him: ((128) There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. Grievous to him is what you suffer; [he is] concerned over you and to the believers is kind and merciful.) [Sura of Repentance].

Both the Judaic and Muslim way of slaughter is acruel death for the slaughtered animal. The animal, instead of being stunned and unconscious, is slaughtered by slitting its throat and bleeding it out so it dies in pain and agony. The halal and kosher beliefs are that the animal is dead in seconds. Actually the animal is alive and conscous for up to a minute before the blood loss sends it unconscious.
If you find it a comfort to do this because of some silly mythological ceremony, you just wont buy meat animals from me .
Brutish sadistic means of slaughtering meat animals. even chickens should be stunned into unconsciousness first

people whose heads are "removed" via a Guillotine, are actully alive for a few minutes and actually see and are able to watch their bodies as their heads are dropped into the basket. So obviously the kosher and halal guys dont know what the hell they are saying that animals are not cruelly slaughtered.
(Not that a high speed bolt to the back of the head isnt cruel, Id just rather the animal be unconscious when its bled out.

I'm curious about that, a police choke hold disrupts the flow of blood to the brain rendering someone unconscious quite quickly, wouldn't lopping off the head achieve a similar effect?

LAvoisier was guillotined and he claimed to have set up an experiment where he would blink as many times as he could after his head was removed. He blinked for about 20 times, maybe a second or two apart. There were several stories of people who were decapitated whose heads were showing shock and terror and their eyes moved to their companions and their mouths moved as if making words.
Im not some freak whose fascinated with this ****. I just dont think that I want animals slaughtered like a partial decapitation and where the shkraith insists that its not cruel to the animal

I don't care to see animals suffer in death, I'm more concerned about the terror inflicted than I am the pain though.

Prophet peace be upon him in this order the Hadith need for compassion for animals should be slaughtered when the knife is very sharp and does not see animal rights in his hand the knife which is coming to slaughter so as not to fear, and so the blood does not clot in the head of the animal
The islands in the automated blood clot in the head of the animal and thus becomes a bacteria in meat and inedible
