I have a crocodile bag which I think is Edwardian, it has no makers label, but has a gold coloured circular metal monogram on the front left hand corner, anyone know where I can find out more about the bag and the monogram?

Id check their web pge and see if they have published a book on antique hqandbags. Otherwise , if you can find any hallmrks (or whatever they call makers marks in purses) Just put the names in a search engine like auctionzip_
