Looks like a good place to get a mask to look anonymous, and commit a crime, or a con.

I'm sure it would be if someone had the money to buy it.

But there are a few "tells" -- the forehead doesn't move right, for example.

It's definitely not Cohen.

I thought everyone realized it but was having my doubts when dlowan couldn't stand it anymore and broke.

Seems like more people may have fell for it than didn't. I'm wondering now if Robert realized it was a fake.

The guy doing the interview is pretty good, and it's amusing when Monckton starts realizing something strange is up.

Makes me miss Ali G (the TV show, the movie was awful)

Yeah, but let's say it was the old man mask.

You're going to be very anonymous with that, with the way society is.

Wear that mask and some non-descript of kinda sloppy clothes (maybe a walmart fisherman's hat, you're invisible.

If you were planning something big, it'd be worth it.

I wasn't sure if everyone realised or not. I'd expect Aussies to know it wasn't for real because the interviewer is one of 'The Chaser' boys and it's from their new programme The Hamster Wheel...

I am 100% sure Robert got it. I just couldn't tell with anyone else.....actually, I was sure Thomas got it. Either way, it was very funny.

I wonder if Monckton realized who they were pretending he was? He handled it with enormous aplomb I thought....though with less than I thought at first. I thought he was kidding with them when he said " I got it in Indonesia."

Now I wish I'd shut up, since some were tricked. It'd have been funnier later.

I would have been at primary school but unfortunately my parents hated him so we didn't watch it. Ditto Aunty Jack. We were watching British comedians like Benny Hill and Dick Emery instead.... I've seen a lot of Gunston clips over the years - I should go back and find him on youtube.

Yes....but I don't think the Chaser folk ever thought anyone in their audience WOULD think it was Cohen....the joke is that Monckton is such a loony that it makes sense to think of him as a Cohen character.
