It's the first day of autumn here.

It is my favourite season. I enjoy the sunny and crisp days. I love the food that comes from local harvest fests. Great walking weather. The light in the northern sky is beautiful now. The long shadows make for amazing photos. I can pull out more of my scarves and hats. I pull out more interesting books to read.

Seasons and changes.

(No time left for you) On my way to better things
(No time left for you) I found myself some wings
(No time left for you) Distant roads are callin' me
(No time left for you) Da-un-da-un-da-un-da-un-da

No time for a summer friend
No time for the love you send
Seasons change and so did I
You need not wonder why
You need not wonder why
There's no time left for you
No time left for you

(No time left for you) On my way to better things
(No time left for you) I found myself some wings
(No time left for you) Distant roads are callin' me
(No time left for you) Day-un-day-un-day-un-day-un-day

No time for a gentle rain
No time for my watch and chain
No time for revolving doors
No time for the killin' floor
No time for the killin' floor
There's no time left for you
No time left for you

No time for a summer friend
No time for the love you send
Seasons change and so did I
You need not wonder why
You need not wonder why
There's no time left for you
No time left for you

No time, no time, no time, no time
No time, no time, no time, no time
I got, got, got, got no time
I got, got, got, got no time
I got, got, got, got no time
No-no-no, no-no-no, no time
No-no-no, no-no-no, no time

No-no-no, no-no-no, no-no-no,

@ehBeth,
Of course you change with the seasons. There was SpringbloomingBeth, followed by SuddenlysummerBeth, and, well, I forget the others.

That's a slide show series of Magnum photos about the colors we associate with fall.

@ehBeth,
I liked several, including the one you liked (reminds me of a certain artist, Cecily Barth Firestein), and the buddhist with the cat, but this one grabbed my eye -
almost for no good reason but that I liked it.

@ossobuco,
I liked that for itself, but didn't manage to clarify that in time. Past that, it reminded me of Cecily.

@ehBeth,
Slightly ironic here . . . as i'm reading this thead, Randy Bachmann's program "Vinyl Tap" is playing on the radio in the background. Of course, i can't hear while i'm listening to the songs in this thread . . .
