Nothing beats a 15 bean soup in the winter. Except maybe chili. Or split pea. Or potato. Actually in general, with cornbread right out of the oven it's hard to beat soup of any kind in any weather but it's particulary comfort food in the winter.

I make (if I say so myself) a great turkey and bean white chili with beer and dark chocolate.
