I probably could have used that staple kit when I was reupholstering my dining room chairs. But since I had six chairs to do I'd have had to buy two kits to have at least four staples per chair. Has anyone by accident incorrectly typed the URL for a site you were trying to get to? I once did and was connected to a porn site. Told a friend of mine and he said 'quick--give me the address!' Since I delete my history daily, couldn't help him.

I know it's hard to believe, but that site is actually trying to sell you something to staple YOUR OWN BODY together with after deep cuts! Here's what they say about it:

Disposable Body Stapler Kit
Don't venture out into the backcountry without being fully prepared to overcome any accident. The disposable body stapler kit is perfect for treating deep cuts and lacerations suffered afield. The completely sterilized system includes stapler with 15 staples, staple remover and comes in a handy carrying pouch. Great for treating cuts on your dog as well.

...Here're a few more classic websites I've stumbled on over the past year or so Very Happy:

» The Infamous Exploding Whale
» New Scientist - Fossil find reveals world's oldest penises
» FrEaKy FoLk - The wackiest and weirdest people in the world! (All real, by the way.)
» The Traffic Cone Preservation Society
» Church of the Gerbil (It just doesn't get any dumber than this!)
» The Cult Construction Set
» Dumb Laws (Many have been verified, but read their disclaimer.)
» Home of the Outhouses of America Tour Web site (Don't miss their coverage of the Trenary, Michigan Outhouse Racing.)
» The Third Nipple ("Helping those people with additional nipples grow and function as productive members of society through knowledge, counseling, self-empowerment, and regular encouragement.")

...And of course there's the ever classic World RPS (RockPaperScissors) Society, with an ongoing discussion about it on Able2Know over here.

I'm a bit daft, I guess. Wink I have an intelligence quota for every month, Mustang, but that's usually used up after about 3 days (give or take an hour).

Cheers mate. Very Happy

Equus, at first I thought the site you supplied was a parody also, until I clicked on a few of the links. What a hoot!

Monger, I've seen that site before but tried it again anyway. Some of the stuff is really funny; some is pretty much over the edge. Would you believe some people actually think that's the official 'Whitehouse' site? The first time it was called to my attention I couldn't believe what I was reading. Took me a bit to catch on (I'm a slow learner). Embarrassed

Has anyone made a typo when entering a URL? Amazing things come up at times.

Here's another one that's different from what it purports to be. Claims to be a resource for "knowledgeable, intelligent people like you," but when you enter the site, look out!
