Not necessarily. This is not something someone comes to grips with easily and he might try and work around the issue to make it sound less shocking at first. As Americans/Canadians, we just kind of roll our eyes at questions like this because we assume there is enough information out there that someone could get their questions better answered elsewhere, but if he's in a country that is not as open to his situation he could be persecuted (not that doesn't happen here too). I would suggest the poster try to find a sympathetic ear in his own country, if there is such a group, or at least search "transexual support forum" on the internet to get his questions answered. I don't think anyone here really knows how to go about helping him (despite all the H2OMan tags, which I think is not helpful and insulting to transvestites).
