What do you do with your freetime?

I understand from somewhere else you posted, Gracie, that exploring a2k threads can be pretty boring for you since you don't understand and are not interested.

Looks like you do a Let Me Start a Thread thing instead of engaging.

My own advice is that you start to explore.

I wish you well, re looking around.

I paint and paint and paint some more. Sometimes I shovel out the house. Having been retired for many years I do not wear a watch, never set an alarm clock, and have as much fun as is possible.

I play chess online.

I like to read books, magazines and newspapers,
I like to play (on the piano) and listen to music.
I like to walk and take pictures.
Right now, I'm spending a lot of free time putting my pictures together into a book for my mother.
I like to walk and play with my dog.
I like to write letters
I like to play backgammon (with real people present in the same room with me)
I like to play scrabble (with real people present in the same room with me)
I like to do crossword puzzles
I like to do word and number games
I love to visit new places and explore them.
I love to go just about anywhere - beach, mountains, moors, cities I haven't been to.
I like to take naps
I like to cook
I like to eat out

I could go on and on and on...

Welcome to a2k, Marsilly. (Passes the shovel..)

I'm a painter, long time painter, oils. But.. I have difficulty doing it here in my new home town in hotville.
In the winter it is cold, and I admit I could paint then, but I'm usually dealing with other stuff, and winter is short. Spring brings big winds and big sand into the house if any orifice is open. In the summer, the windows must be near shut so that the swamp cooler can work to bring temps down a few degrees. There's the matter of black widows (I had one in my kitchen), and this and that, and I don't have screen doors. I'm not used to living without real air in the house, so this is all odd to me.

I've misplaced my painting jones, but it's not entirely gone.
