I believe cooking food by boiling it in water is somewhat inefficient since much water must be heated to cook a small amount of food and because the hot water is not used after the food is removed.
What type of cooking is the most efficient?

Steam Heat... Water is more effective than open air by a long shot... Heat simply rises and is gone... Microwaving should be good... To get the water molecules to move faster and then boil inside of something should be very efficient, but I think a lot of that is simply wasted as well...
