I found a small metal thing that says:
Expressmens
Union No. 1
850
Claim Check
Duplicate
I cant seem to find a lot of info on this, except that Expressmen were around in the late 1800's - early 1900's and used wagons to haul whatever needed hauling. They were unionized and made about $3.00 a day.
Is this worth anything?
Thanks
Donna

@deegeez,
Its classified as either "ephemera" or "Transportation history memoribilia"

There are books and websites on collectibles in these categories, Youd need to find out really what the thing is and what it does and then go on line to a site that can lead you to representative prices realized with the name of the object and compare to recent auction prices(auctionzip.com) is a place to start.

Beleive me, Theres a collector for everything so Im sure youll easily find representative prices for good, better, and best condition stuff.

Schiffer Pubs and Dover, and Kovells series are many of the books and reference guides on collectibles/
