I tried and got few websites but couldn't find them useful...

You're welcome. Cnet's download center is always a good place to look since the programs they recommend are already checked and will be virus-free, plus they're rated by both users and Cnet's editors.

The program I use for ebook management is called Calibre (free and fabulous) and will convert not only .pdf but more than a dozen other file formats. I use it almost daily and if you have many files to convert, it has a batch conversion feature that's lightening fast.
