Hey, hudson. Welcome to A2K. Would you be more specific about the type literature, i.e. --poetry--prose, etc?

Well, hudson, books can include many things. If you could cite a specific example, perhaps I can help.

There really isn't a comprehensive site where you can find the first and last lines of books.

The reason for this is because of copyrights.

Amazon has a search within the book function but you may need to know the book first (I'm not sure).

This is all I could find on amazon. It's not on the last page of the book, but I thought I'd share anyway. Hope it's what you're looking for.

Edit: Ah, it is the last page! It must be the last page of the first book in the trilogy.

Perhaps hudson will let us know if any of the references were successful.

What was the book about and who were the characters. More details. Would you recognize the title if you heard it?

I think it's a scavenger hunt of sorts - I found a reference when I searched for this on Google last week. (If I'd found the answer, I'd have posted it of course! Very Happy )

I told you in the last post; I am 100% sure that it is The Commitments.
