I'm possibly over convinced by the power of the bird-scare tape I've bought in an attempt to protect my crops. It's the silver and red tape that blows in the wind. Before I install it, there is a bird box about 3 meters away from my soft fruit (planning error, perhaps) and I don't want to risk upsetting the nesting blue tits. Will they be bothered?
So what's the problem?
They will simply not go in THAT area.
They will find other food source, believe me.
