I'm curious about what songs you think are sexy. Not romantic, but sexy.

INXS's "I Need You Tonight" always does it for me.

Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing" doesn't count because everyone feels all sexy when they hear that one.

Anything by Barry White only gets 1/4 point.

For some inexplicable reason, Green Day's "Hitchin' A Ride" is very sexy to me.

@boomerang,
There was a very embarrassing episode involving lipsynching that song a bit too enthusiastically in 9th grade. Sigh.

Lots of Prince songs, but "Kiss" comes to mind. The line "I just want your extra time" really got me for some reason.

Oooh "Scratch My Back," can't remember the artist (blues song, awesome baseline).

@dadpad,
Just what you'd expect.

School dance, INXS playing, my beloved-at-the-time watching me dance from the sidelines (eventually-discovered mutual crush was never consummated because we were both dorks), lots of lipsynching and eye contact. Gah. (Maybe it was 11th grade? 9th grade seems too young but it wasn't as late as senior.)

Had a similar experience at a similar period in time but with Jaz ballet. She was realy turning it ON and projecting to me. she certainy had my attention though I admit I was somewhat startled at the time.
Small difference... it eventually well and truly consumated.

mmmmmmmmmmm.

I need to stop thinking about that now.

Bryan Adams' "Let's Make a Night to Remember"

Both the lyrics and the melody are extremely sexy. The original video released with it was horrible and didn't do the song any justice at all. I like this version of it that was performed by Bryan many years later.

@dyslexia,
I love that one too, Dys.

One that struck me funny at the time - I first heard it in a hotel in Puerto Vallarta where a new friend, well, new lover of the guy the friend I went with, played it on the hotel's piped in sound system.. several times (he was the tennis pro) was Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg's Je t'aime -

@ehBeth,
Not as sexy as your choice, ehBeth, but that reminded me of this one - and my first serious relationship. He hummed I Got a Woman, Way Across Town, and then took me to see Ray Charles, who I hadn't know about back then.

Mildly tangential, but I find a lot of drug songs sexy...

Along with pretty much anything PJ Harvey sang in the early 90s, when she was still tearing her throat up.

OK, weird, I'm going now.
