His band. See the website listed as his favorite and you'll see the defacement. It's a Brazilian group judging from their defacement message.

Is it possible to exactly pinpoint the person that did this?

Yes. But you either need to do something illegal (like hack back in search of an identity) or you need to get law enforcement involved (which won't happen in this case).

So getting the real identity of the persons is not worth the effort.

You might have a shot at getting their ISP to help, but it looks like they are using a free Brazilian ISP (I.G.) that will probably not be able to help.

But they gave their email addresses and other contact info. If you want to contact them you can (though I don't recommend it).

I hope a new virus crawls out of the rainforest and makes testicles grow out of the roof of their mouths.

Sweaty hairy ones.

I saw that they left their email address. Brand X said there was no firewall in place. I was just being concerned and trying to understand how this could happen. I' am currently working on my first web page and I have never seen anything like this happen before. I hope Bi-Polar has had all web information stored elsewhere, just in case something like this happened.

I don't maintain the site our old drummer does, but I'm sure it's going to be a major pain in the ass to redo. There was over 11 hours of downloadable music on the site and God knows how many pictures and other stuff.
